Pati @patirobins has made me fall in love with black walls. Seriously. I've never realized just how much colors can POP against the dark void of color. All of the photos on her feed are moody and fun and totally worth a follow.

Fun fact. I love CHARTREUSE. And Nikki's @collectedhome green walls are singin' my SONG ya'll! It's split-pea nature is the perfect nod to her retro "mod pod" as she calls it and the perfect background to the graphic artwork.

This week's #howyouhome theme is #art and @sweet_domicile knew I couldn't resist when she tagged me to share a few pieces of my own. I have a long background in art and love to add to my collection. These are a few I've collected along the way.

Maggie's @maggieoverbystudios eye for style has always blown me away. And this mantle is no exception. I can't decide what I like most about this mantle: the art, the paint job, or THOSE CANDLESTICKS. Ok. It might be the candlesticks...

Peg racks are seriously great for everything! Don't want to hang your clothes in the closet? 🙋Throw them on a peg rack. Want to display your awesome hat collection? Peg rack to the rescue. You can even throw a couple hanging plants on there!

And I can't help but end on Mary's @thisthriftedabode styled peg rack. A soft color pallet can still be bold people! And these muted colors against the white wall read so calming with a generous helping of cheery.

We all know I can't help but love a pup pic, but @modernpups had me at this yellow-friendly gallery wall!

My current colour crush is blush pink and kick ass green. I'm just lusting over the incredible effect they have on one another. Like the boy you wouldn't bring home to introduce to mother, it's so wrong but so right! In short I want to snog this rooms face off. My husband on the other hand is taking some convincing. Long suffering soul that he is it's a No for our bedroom scheme. But could I get it in another room in the house. I'm thinking kitchen or bathroom which are both in a dire need of colour. With the healthy surge of feminism going around, I couldn't help but stop at this roaring blush and it's sassy emerald green friend. This color combo has historical been labeled as "girly" but this pic tagged by @sophierobinsoninteriors has me like - and is that a bad thing?

I'm so in love with this colorful geometric wedding I just styled and photographed today. But of course I would be!
